 RSS Criticism of Minority appeasement and anti-Hindu bias A core charge is that Nehruvian secularism is not neutral: it privileges minorities (Muslims and Christians in particular) through separate personal laws, institutional autonomy, targeted benefits, and political “vote-bank” considerations, while treating Hindu society as the default from which concessions are extracted or as the one community open to reform and criticism.
