Kundalini Shakti

 Kundalini Shakti

Kundalini Shakti, is a central concept in Hindu Tantra, Shaiva traditions, and yogic philosophy. The term "Kundalini" comes from Sanskrit, meaning "coiled" or "coiled snake" (from kundal, referring to something coiled). It represents a dormant divine feminine energy (Shakti) believed to reside at the base of the spine in the Muladhara chakra (root chakra), coiled like a serpent three-and-a-half times.

This energy is described as the fundamental life force, creative power, and source of spiritual evolution within every human. In its latent state, it supports basic bodily functions and worldly consciousness. When awakened, it rises through the central energy channel (Sushumna nadi) along the spine, activating the seven main chakras (energy centers) and ultimately uniting with pure consciousness (Shiva) at the crown chakra (Sahasrara). This union is said to bring expanded awareness, self-realization, bliss, and liberation from ordinary limitations
