Which ever the dosa found to be predominent should be treated first; when all the dosas are found to be equal in alcoholism, then treatment should be to the seats of kapha first, because alcoholism generally has aggravation of pitta and maruta (vata) at its terminal stages. 1-2a. 

The disease (alcoholism) which develops from inadequate, improper and excess use of any one kind of wine, gets relieved by the proper use of the same. 2b-3a. 

Wine is similar to poison; poison possessing powerful properties and actions such as penetrating (deep into the tissues) etc; needs another kind of poison (for the cure of disorders caused by the first poison). 3b-4a.

By ingestion of large quantity of wine which possesses tiksna (penetrating), usna (heat producing), amla (sour) and vidahi (causing burning senastion) properties, the moisture in the essence of food, udergoes excess cooking, assumes the properties of ksara (caustic alkali) and produces intoxication, thirst, delusion, fever, burning sensation inside the abdomen and severe giddiness. Maruta (vata) getting obstructed in its passage by the other dosas aggravated by wine, produces severe pain in the head, bones and joints. When these symptoms become old or not produced by wine (by drinking again) and such a desire (for drinking) becoming less, they (symptoms) get relieved by the same wine itself used judiciously and in the prescribed manner. 4-7. 

Ksara (alkali) attains sweetness soon by getting mixed with sour; among sour things wine is the cheif and sufficient to liquify and mitigate the dosas. 8.

Wine by its properties such as tiksna, usna etc; described earlier (vide chapter 6 of nidanasthana) and dipana (carminative) etc. (vide chapter 5 of Sutrasthana) and by nature of becoming habituated/acaustomed), it will be the best material to restore the normalcy of the dhatus (tissues). 9. 

The treatment for alcohoism should be done for seven or eight days only; by that period the wine localised in abnormal passages (places other than the alimentary tract) gets digested. The diseases which continue even after this period should be treated with appropriate therapies prescribed for alcoholism. 10-11.

  The 185th birth anniversary of Amar Shaheed Vira Pasi Amar Shaheed Vira Pasi, meaning "Immortal Martyr Vira Pasi," is  a revered figure, particularly among the Pasi community in India .  He is remembered for his bravery and sacrifice in the fight against British colonial rule.  His story is often celebrated during events organized by groups like the Veer Bharat Pasi Trust and Pasi Vikas Sansthan.  Amar Shaheed Vira Pasi is a great Dalit freedom fighter who is remembered as a brave warrior in the Dalit narrative. He was a security guard of Raja Beni Madhav Singh of Murar Mau, in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. Raja Beni Madhav Singh was arrested for taking part in the Revolt.
